Our goal is to protect our language, culture and heritage, and to create independence and economic prosperity for Norman Wells Land Corporation / Tłegǫ́hłı̨ Got’įnę Government participants of the SDMCLCA.

Financial Corporation

The Norman Wells Financial Corporation is the financial arm of the Norman Wells Land Corporation / Tłegǫ́hłı̨ Got’įnę Government.

Claimant Corporation

The Norman Wells Claimant Corporation is the business arm of the Norman Wells Land Corporation / Tłegǫ́hłı̨ Got’įnę Government.

Renewable Resources

The Norman Wells Renewable Resource Council (NWRRC) is set up through the Land Claims Agreement to represent the NWLC’s interest in the environment, wildlife and the outdoors.

Vision Statement

We will achieve social and economic self-sufficiency for the Norman Wells participants of the Sahtú Dené and Métis Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement (SDMCLCA) through strong self-governance, fair access and benefit agreements, good long term financial management and sound investment in local infrastructure.
